When I started fishing (about 34 years ago), I always captured the Lambari (Astyanax Abramis) with natural corn kernels baited in the hook. When I met flyfishing did not expect the opportunity to rediscover these little warriors fish. I tried all the known patterns of nymphs # 18 - # 22 and my catches were very limited. That's when I remembered my childhood and the fisheries did and soon sought an item to simulate corn. Adding this element to a traditional pheasant tail, my catches have become frequent.
No other pattern tied on this hook, have you considered adding one?
